Now You can test new features of X3 CMS 0.2 prerelease, a bit faster, more powerful and usable version.
This version will be downloadable from august, 6 2007 and contains some big enhancements:

• include Mootools Javascript Framework
• redesign Language manager
• simplify site management

In details:

• Mootools is a powerful framework (like Jquery)
  X3 now use it always in admin area and in some modules (soon in documentation) like x3_gallery and x3_banner. With Mootools admin's work is more smooth and fun (image preview, from link to form with one click, editable select are small examples).
  With Javascript You can put some animations without Flash (see Gallery in the demo).
• Multilanguage is a base feature of X3 CMS
  Dictionary files was too big and X3 CMS was too slow. We have rewritten Language support: no dictionary file but dictionary table. No include but queries.
  Now X3 CMS is faster, multilanguage support is cleaner and admin can change translations and import or export dictionaries.
• Added Tag field in blocks table
  With tags articles management is more intuitive and with a small module (x3_tag_selector) You can connect all  tagged blocks  to a page.  No more : write an article -> put it into a page but only write an article.
  Another use is with x3_highlight module: show excerpts of tagged blocks from latest to older.
• Added Module parameter field in blocks table
  Some module needs one or more parameter (eg.: x3_gallery, which gallery?). Now You can put the parameter and You have the use of more powerful modules.
  
• Documents and images manager
  Delete description field and rewritten engine files.
• Simplified messages management
  A small but very apprecciated enhancement is the message in-page. No more action -> message -> go back now only action.
